I hadn’t worked with the newest generation of individually addressable RGB lights until now, and I’m genuinely impressed. These are high-quality LEDs - not only can they get extremely bright, but they also dim down to surprisingly low levels while maintaining accurate color, something I’ve rarely seen in consumer-grade lighting (most cheap RGBs stay too bright or wash out into flickery white when dimmed).
This light is awesome! I’ve tried a few similar products in the past, but they either had a bulky light sensor or software that bogged down my PC. This one has no bulky sensor, and the software consistently uses less than 1% of my CPU. The immersive effect it adds to games is epic.
The backlight was great; it illuminated the room with the colors of the screen. Overall, it was great! I will buy more when I get my second monitor.
Overall, the light syncing features, both in responsiveness, color reproduction, brightness, etc, are extremely close to what is displayed on the screen. There is a very slight delay, but on fast moving images it's very hard to tell that there's any lag. I'm extremely pleased with this product, and I would recommend it to fellow Amazon shoppers without any major reservations
